Moomintroll and Moominmamma set off to find the missing Moominpappa and get into wild adventures along the way. During their journey, a great flood rises and they experience many dangers and scares. Eventually, the family is happily reunited and they arrive in a small valley – the most beautiful place they have ever seen. It just so happens that the house Moominpappa has built, a very nice house painted blue, has also been washed up there.
