Conserves Chtoura Fava Beans & Chickpeas 400g

Chick peas are an excellent source of protein and other nutrients. Beans can be cooked in a variety of ways depending on your diet and taste. Conserved Chtoura chick peas in brine are precooked chickpeas in salt water. You can eat canned chickpeas straight out of the can! Just be sure to rinse them off before chowing down to wash out excess sodium! It saves time and it’s easy to use. Both! Chickpeas contain both starches and proteins. But while they may be a starch, they are a great source of fiber and have a lower glycaemic index than its other starchy veggie counterparts (like potatoes).
