The Moomins Day 2025 collection is inspired by Tove Jansson’s first Moomin story, The Moomins and the Great Flood, which follows the journey of Moominmamma and Moomintroll as they search for Moominpappa in the middle of a flood. Along the way, they meet Tulippa and a little character we will later come to know as Sniff. During each great journey, we must also rest and gather strength for the challenges ahead. With this in mind, Moominmamma creates a warm and cosy nest in the undergrowth, where they fall asleep listening to the sounds of the marsh frogs. The next morning they continue their adventure together.
