The L-mug shows Moominmamma weaving a sock. In the backstory, Moominpappa and Moominmamma, who are eager for change, move into a cave, but agree to return when the children find them. The illustration on the back of the mug, which is part of the Alphabet collection, is inspired by the Moomin family cartoon.

If four letters can change the world, imagine what all the letters of the alphabet can do! By combining different 0.4 litre Alphabet Mugs with each other, you can set the table with meaningful words like the English word LOVE. You can also choose your own initials – can you already find them in the collection?

The Moomin mug Alphabets Collection by Arabia aims to encourage us to create new and meaningful words. The collection is created in collaboration with Reading, Writing and the Moomins an initiative by Moomin Characters bringing various organizations, publishers, libraries, and license holders together to spread the joy of reading and writing in the lives of children, youth, and adults.
