One of Bremonts proudest milestones came in 2019 with the launch of an official partnership with the Ministry of Defence, honouring Her Majestys Armed Forces. This historic collaboration made Bremont the sole luxury watchmaker authorised to use the signs, symbols, and Heraldic Badges of the Royal Navy, British Army, and Royal Air Force.
In 2020, the Broadsword Bronze was introduced to expand Bremonts Armed Forces Collection. Inspired by the classic military timepieces issued to service personnel, it retains key elements of the original British Army specification, including a sub-seconds hand at six oclock and multiple layers of luminous paint on the hands and dial for optimal visibility in low-light conditions.
The 40mm case is crafted from CuSn8 bronzea solid solution strengthened copper alloy containing 8% tin. This high tin content enhances the metals strength, durability, and corrosion resistance. As a living material, bronze naturally develops a rich patina over time, ensuring each timepiece becomes a unique reflection of its journey and wearer.
