As part of the Heritage collection, the Heritage Yellow Gold Diamond & Turquoise Guilloch Enamel Crossover Bracelet draws inspiration from Fabergs original jewelled masterpieces.
Faberg has concealed a ruby on the inside of the bracelet – ‘a hidden gem’ that touches the skin to signify the special bond held with a loved one. Guilloch refers to an ornamental engraving technique. When covered in translucent enamel guilloch achieves a shimmering liquid silk effect and a mesmerizing pattern movement when the piece is worn. Guilloch enamelling is a rare art practiced by only a select few expert ateliers around the world.
The bracelet comes set in 18 carat yellow gold, adorned with a turquoise opalescent guilloch enamel egg and accented with 9 brilliant cut round white diamonds. The measurement of the egg shape is 14.51mm in length, 10.61mm in height and 5.25mm in width.
About Faberg
In 1882, Peter Carl Faberg took over his fathers very ordinary jewellery business and quickly transformed it into an international phenomenon. The ordinary became the extraordinarily fashionable. Out went the French 18th century style where diamonds prevailed. In came the design-led artist-jeweller with a penchant for colour through both gemstones and reviving the lost art of enamelling. The craftsmanship was of the very finest standard. This formula made Faberg irresistible and the ultimate objects to own, as well as the gift of choice.
Today, Faberg is a member of the Gemfields Group a world leading supplier of responsibly-sourced gemstones. Faberg continues its penchant for colour and proudly incorporates gemstones into its creations from Gemfields mines in Africa. Gemfields mines rubies in Mozambique and emeralds in Zambia, with an overriding principle to ensure that African gemstones give back to the people of Africa. Gemfields gemstones are mined with transparency, legitimacy and integrity.
