Folklore is inspired by the Arts and Crafts movement and the beauty of unfinished art. The Bird-of-Peace print comes from original embroidery by Vancouver Island fiber artist Kim Donohoe, while the background panels feature three unfinished 1885 designs by William Morris, complete with his visible pencil and ink sketch marks. Together, they create a fairytale piece that celebrates the artistry of non-finito.
